Trending.

Me again, I promise this time I'm back for good!! :)

I have been watching and falling in love with some of the new trends in hair and fashion! Color is a huge factor in my job and my life. I am OBSESSED with dip-dye, all over color and ombré! I'm talking bright colors; purple, teal and pink. I'm currently rocking some teal in my hair and love it more than words!

Here's what I'm talking about:
Want!!!!!
Absolutely LOVE this. I had a few pieces in  last fall and I'm thinking it should happen again..

I wish!!! I seriously love this!
Loving this hot pink! My sister-in-law loves pink hair and we put some of this in her bangs. :)

Ombre hair. Ombre hair.
Beautifully done Ombre!

Kevin Murphy makes an awesome colored hair powder.  It goes on like eye shadow and washes right out!
You can find it here.

Kool-aid is another option for "temporary" color. I use that word lightly because it actually holds longer than you would think!

Your hair is an awesome accessory! If you're not into having just one color all over or even wanting it for more than a day. The last two would be great for you! Another simple colored powder is chalk.

Love you hair and have fun!

here we go!

I've been gone way too long! I guess I should start with the fact that I got engaged! Which, to those of you who have planned a wedding before know exactly why my blog has been neglected. ;)

We've made it through our winter and I'm already thinking about spring and summer. Hair, makeup, dresses and sunscreen! I'm actually pretty surprised that not too many of us San Diegan's actually use it. I'm too pasty and have been burned too many times not to go without it!

I found this super simple and cute hairstyle for you all. :)
found here.
I am seriously in LOVE with this. It is so classic yet fun!
Start with teasing 3-5 1/4" horizontal sections on your crown. "X" bobby pin's into place.
Next, do the waterfall braid;{french braid with just two pieces instead of 3-4} straight back.
[I pinned one side into my hair while I worked on the other side so it didn't loosen up or fall out.]
Finally take both braids and the rest of your hair, twist into a bun. Secure with a band and pin if needed.

If you see some extra hair falling from any spot, DON'T freak. That's your personal touch and it looks a lot more effortless!! :)

Here's how it looks on me>>

I'm so excited over this! I hope you have as much fun as I did. ;)

falling in LOVE with...

Fall is here! Well not in San Diego this week. No, we're soaking in excessive amounts of Vitamin-D in this 90+ degree weather. I'm a little bitter..I want to wear boots, scarves, coats etc. Even though we're not experiencing cold or even cooler weather I wanted to share my top fall faves!

boho twist.

In LOVE! Another day another pony tail. But hey, their so easy and cute!  This one is really simple too.

1. Loosely curl your hair.[it doesn't need to be perfect, you could even just do the ends.}
2. Divide your hair in half. Each side divide in half again.
3. On one side take both pieces and twist all the way down to the nape of your neck and rubber band with a thin one.
 4. Repeat on the other side until the twist is at the first one and pony them together.
5. Tease a little bit of your pony tail to rough it up a little.

It's almost the weekend! :) Happy Styling
